Stewardship Council

What We Offer

This new committee's goal is to help all parishioners increase their engagement with our parish. Stewardship is often misinterpreted as being related totally to financial support. This is not true and is not be the sole focus of this committee. According to the dictionary, a steward is a person morally responsible for the careful use of money, time, talent or other resources, especially with respect to the principles or needs of a community or group.

Stewardship is the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. When we realize that our lives, including our talents, gifts, insights, material possessions and everything else that makes us who we are is God's very personalized gift to us, then the Holy Spirit can use us in accordance with God's will for us.

The Stewardship committee has resources to help parishioners discover their talents and facilitate using them for our community of faith. Over the coming months the Stewardship Committee will begin to implement programs and education to help us increase the Stewardship lifestyle in our parish.
